Summary
Safe Exam Browser (SEB) is a piece of software designed to limit the applications available on a user’s device during a Moodle quiz. If you want to use this with one of your quizzes please talk to your local eLearning Facilitator.

Common issues
- Zoom – if your quiz requires Zoom invigilation the Zoom room must be joined before SEB is opened. You need to use your university email account (Click the SSO button in zoom, or follow the instructions at https://blogs.otago.ac.nz/zoom/signing-in-with-the-desktop-application/
- Multiple screens – SEB can fail to launch if you have multiple screens connected. If this problem occurs disconnect your additional screens.
