Summary
The Timeline block shows an overview of deadlines in a user’s Dashboard. The Timeline block will show a maximum of two weeks in the past.

How to make activities show in the Timeline
To make an activity show in the Timeline it needs to have a deadline or an Expect completed on date set in the activity completion settings.
For staff to be able to see an assignment that needs grading remind – the Remind me to grade by setting will need to be set in the assignment.
To check these settings:
- Go to the activity in Moodle and click the ⋮ icon (to the right of the activity – make sure Edit mode is on).
- Check through the available settings for due dates, or find the Activity completion settings at the bottom of the settings page and set an Expect completed on date.
