Summary
Product Groups define what will be recorded for your recordings. The available product groups depend on the equipment installed in the room you are recording in. The available product groups are listed below.
If you are creating an Ad-Hoc capture from within the Otago Capture software, we recommend reading the Otago Capture Ad-Hoc instructions.
Product Groups Available
Audio only – Only the audio captured by the room’s microphone is recorded.
Audio and Screen – The room audio as well as the projected screen are recorded.
Audio and Screen, and Live Stream – The room audio as well as the projected screen are recorded and available to be viewed by students via live streaming.
Audio, Screen and Camera – the room’s audio, projected screen and a video feed of the presenter are recorded. The video feed can only be recorded by ITS Media Production by prior arrangement. If you would like your lecture recorded, contact the University of Otago’s Media Production Unit (MPU).
