Summary
Safe Assign is the University’s originality checking tool that can be used to check students’ work against sources available on the Internet as well as an institutional repository of students work. This means that assignments can be verified against submissions from previous years and other papers.
In December 2014 the SafeAssign tool underwent some change where the functionality was integrated with the Assignment content Item. It is unlikely (but possible) that there are still the “old style” SafeAssignments in papers, but if these instructions don’t suit please check the Legacy SafeAssignments page.
