You can use URLs to provide your students with useful resources.<\/p>\n<h3>Resources<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.moodle.org\/401\/en\/URL_resource\">URL<\/a> (Moodle.org)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.moodle.org\/401\/en\/URL_resource_settings\">URL resource settings<\/a> (Moodle.org)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How to add a URL<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Login to Moodle and navigate to where you want the URL to appear.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure editing is turned on\u00a0<em>(Edit mode<\/em> in the top right hand corner).<\/li>\n<li>Copy the URL from the original source &#8211; usually the address bar of your browser. Make sure you grab everything <em>http:\/\/www&#8230;.<\/em>etc.<\/li>\n<li>Back in Moodle click\u00a0<em>Add an activity or resource<\/em> in the area you want the URL to appear.<\/li>\n<li>Select URL from the list (it&#8217;s right near the bottom).<\/li>\n<li>Give your URL a name (this is what the students will see), paste the copied URL from step 4 into the\u00a0<em>External URL\u00a0<\/em>box.
