By tagging resources within Moodle, the curriculum map will automatically display this link on the appropriate Core Element, such as Core Presentations, Core Professional Activities and Core Conditions.
\nThe resource sits within Moodle, so will only be accessible by medical students and staff. But you can see the link without a login. You can tag anything within Moodle, from PDFs, to quizzes, to wikis and glossaries.
\nYou should tag resources you want to share with our modules, or students from the other campuses. So generally if it is a \u2018definitive resource\u2019. Or is a major component of that resource or activity.<\/p>\n

How to Tag<\/h2>\n

  1. Turn Editing On (Edit<\/em> Mode – top right of page, assuming you have editing permission).<\/li>\n
  2. Find your resource.<\/li>\n
  3. Click Edit \u22ee icon to the right of the resource and then Edit Settings.<\/em><\/li>\n
  4. Scroll down to Tags.<\/em><\/li>\n
  5. Start typing, and the appropriate core element will auto-complete.<\/li>\n
  6. Click Enter\/Return<\/em>.<\/li>\n
  7. Click Save<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Then check the page in the curriculum map and the link will automagically appear.<\/p>\n
