This checklist should be completed prior to course delivery to ensure students can\u00a0find the course, view working and up to date content therein, and minimise the number of Moodle questions from students. If you have any questions while completing this checklist, reach out to <a href=\"mailto:med.moodle@otago.ac.nz\">med.moodle@otago.ac.nz<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Resources<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/medschool.otago.ac.nz\/course\/view.php?id=2538\">How to use Moodle 4 &#8211; A Moodle course<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Checklist<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Course Settings<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Dashboard \/ course listing<\/em>\u00a0&#8211; does your course appear in the right place in the\u00a0<em>Dashboard,<\/em>\u00a0and in the right category in the <em>course listing<\/em> (on the <em>Home<\/em> page)?\u00a0If not, contact an eLF through the Med Moodle email address.<\/li>\n<li><em>Course full name<\/em> &#8211; this is the name you see in the <em>Dashboard. <\/em>Is this up-to-date and correct?<\/li>\n<li><em>Course visibility, start date, and end date<\/em> &#8211; courses that are not &#8216;current&#8217; (i.e. within the bounds of the\u00a0<em>course start date and end date<\/em>) will not appear at all in the dashboard. Courses that are\u00a0<em>hidden\u00a0<\/em>will only show to administrators and conveners in the dashboard. Set these appropriately.<\/li>\n<li><em>Course image<\/em> &#8211; does the header image for your course look acceptable? The image you use should be 830x194px. If you need assistance formatting your image, contact an eLF.<\/li>\n<li><em>Module information<\/em> &#8211; in Moodle 4.1, module information has moved from the\u00a0<em>course content<\/em> to a separate\u00a0<em>overview<\/em> tab. The content of the\u00a0<em>overview<\/em> tab is set here in <em>course settings.<\/em> Ensure it is still current.<\/li>\n<li><em>Gradebook<\/em> &#8211; are your grades hidden in your freshly rolled-over course? See\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/help.otago.ac.nz\/moodle\/assessing-students\/grade-book\/\">Gradebook<\/a><\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/help.otago.ac.nz\/moodle\/assessing-students\/grade-visibility\/\">Grade Visibility<\/a>.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Course Content<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Zoom<\/em> &#8211; are your\u00a0<em>Zoom<\/em> links and passwords correct? If you are referencing them outside of Moodle (e.g. Outlook calendar), are the links up-to-date? If applicable, are the\u00a0<em>Zoom<\/em> sessions recording to the right place in\u00a0<em>Echo360?<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Echo360<\/em> &#8211; do your\u00a0<em>Echo360<\/em> links point to the right place? If you are unable set these links up, you may need to contact an eLF to have your\u00a0<em>Echo360<\/em> section rolled over.<\/li>\n<li><em>eReserve<\/em> &#8211; have you rolled over your\u00a0<em>eReserve<\/em> reading list, and do your\u00a0<em>eReserve\u00a0<\/em>links point to the right place?<\/li>\n<li><em>Assignments \/ quizzes<\/em> &#8211; do your assignments and quizzes have appropriate due dates set? Are your quizzes asking up-to-date questions?<\/li>\n<li><em>Blocks<\/em> &#8211; do you have all the blocks you need for this course? Are they in your preferred order?<\/li>\n<li><em>General content<\/em> &#8211; is your course content up-to-date? Are any references to last year updated to this year? Do all of your web links still work?<\/li>\n<li><em>Layout<\/em> &#8211; are you happy with the way your course is organised?
