The Timeline block will show a maximum of two weeks in the past.<\/p>\n<h3>Resources<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.moodle.org\/401\/en\/Timeline_block\">Timeline block<\/a> (Moodle.org)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How to make activities show in the Timeline<\/h2>\n<p>To make an activity show in the Timeline it needs to have a deadline or an <em>Expect completed on<\/em> date set in the activity completion settings.<\/p>\n<p>For staff to be able to see an assignment that needs grading remind &#8211; the <em>Remind me to grade by<\/em> setting will need to be set in the assignment.<\/p>\n<p>To check these settings:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to the activity in Moodle and click the \u22ee icon (to the right of the activity &#8211; make sure\u00a0<em>Edit mode<\/em> is on).<\/li>\n<li>Check through the available settings for due dates, or find the\u00a0<em>Activity completion<\/em> settings at the bottom of the settings page and set an <em>Expect completed on<\/em> date.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Related Pages<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/help.otago.ac.nz\/moodle\/assessing-students\/assignments\/\">Assignments<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Summary The Timeline block shows an overview of deadlines in a user&#8217;s Dashboard.
