Access to the Module Digest folder is limited to those with the role of convener in the module.<\/p>\n<h3>Resources<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.otago.ac.nz\/oms\/education\/mbchb\/staff\/resources\/#conveners\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Module Convener Resources<\/a> (University of Otago)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How to give someone access to the Module Digest<\/h2>\n<p>If you do not want to make the person the Convener of the module the following steps can be used.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to Moodle and navigate to the module you want to give them access to.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure the person is already a user in the module (instructions <a href=\"https:\/\/help.otago.ac.nz\/moodle\/building-your-course\/adding-users\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Adding Users).<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Make sure\u00a0<em>Edit mode<\/em> is turned on &#8211; top right hand corner of Moodle.<\/li>\n<li>Open the Module Digest folder.<\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0<em>More<\/em> &gt; <em>Permissions\u00a0<\/em>(under the Module Digest title)<\/li>\n<li>In the dropdown menu that says\u00a0<em>Permissions<\/em> select\u00a0<em>Locally Assigned Roles<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Click the role\u00a0<em>Convener<\/em> and add the person to that role.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>These steps will only give them\u00a0<em>Convener<\/em> rights on the Module Digest and nothing else in the rest of the module.<\/p>\n<h3>Related Pages<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/help.otago.ac.nz\/moodle\/building-your-course\/adding-users\/\">Adding Users<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/help.otago.ac.nz\/moodle\/general-information\/user-roles\/\">User Roles<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Summary Module Digests &#8211; or evaluations of your module reside in the top section (General) of all modules.
