Universal Capture Personal

Summary

Echo360’s Universal Capture Personal (formerly “Personal Capture”) is software that allows you to record lectures or screencast from your personal computer. It can be downloaded from Echo360 and is available for PC and Mac.

System Requirements:

Universal Capture Personal system requirements for:

Windows 10 (64-bit) or higher

or

Mac OSX 10.12 or higher.

Download and Install

To download Universal Capture log into your Echo360 account. On the Echo360 Home page select Settings (the gear icon in the top right of the window), and choose Downloads.

Choose either the Mac or Windows software. Below are links to guides for both.

Logging in

Logging in to Universal Capture Personal is easy.  And you must be logged in to use the application.

  1. Click on the Log in button on the main screen, this will take you to echo360.org.au.
  2. Log in as you normally would using your University username and password
  3. A prompt will ask to open Universal Capture, allow this.
  4. You should now be logged in.
