When a student is watching an Echo they can add bookmarks and comments. These are used with viewing statistics to help lecturers see which parts of the Lecture students are focussing on and interacting with. More information on Statistics and Reports can be found in the Statistics and Reports section of this helpsite.
Discussions
Discussions can be found in the Echoes section of the EchoCentre. Clicking on the discussion will take you to the point of the lecture the discussion was created.
You can also find discussions when playing an Echo. This way you can see the time of the playthrough of the Echo when the discussion point was made.
- First choose the Discussions option (found on the right hand side of the Echo Player).
- You will see each Discussion point made by students. You can reply to points if you wish to.
Bookmarks
You cannot see what students have bookmarked, but the Heat Map uses bookmarks that students have created to give importance to times in the recording. See Statistics and Reports for more information.
