You can embed an Echo (recording) in a website, such as a blog or a Blackboard content area. All you need is the “Embed Code” which you can find when adding public links.
- Go to Publishing and Sharing Media to see how to make a video public so you can grab the embed code.
You can set the embedded code can be set to autostart and automute. You can also choose the size of the embedded video.
Embedding in Blackboard
In Blackboard you can embed a video anywhere the the text editor menu is used:
- Content areas
- Tests
- Assignments
From the test editor follow these instructions:
- From the Mashups menu choose Echo360
- This will open a new window where you can choose an existing video or upload a new one to Echo360
