Adding a Mashup

A mashup can be added to any content area, go to the content area you want to add the mashup to (i.e. Course Documents). Click the Build Content button and select one of the mash up types:

  • Flickr Photo – allows you to search for and add photos from the popular photo sharing system Flickr
  • SlideShare – allows you to search for and add presentations from SlideShare (a system that allows public and private sharing of presentations)
  • YouTube – allows you to search for and add videos from YouTube.
  • Echo360 Video – allows you to add lecture recordings from Echo360

Once you have picked the Mashup type you wish you add, you can search for the item and preview it and then select it. Once you have selected the item you want Blackboard will allow you to give it a name, description and set its availability options like all other content items. Once you have finished press Submit.
